I'm a Seattle based designer and technologist. Currently I'm working at Microsoft on the EDU Workshop creating STEM learning experiences for middle school students. I worked closely with teachers and other designers to create tools and lesson plans that meet NGSS and ISTE standards. I also teach in the MHCI+D and HCDE programs at the University of Washington.
My work focuses on the crossover between digital interactions and the physical world. Experimentation plays a big part in my work, whether it's testing a concept or learning how to send smoke signals, there are always new ways to learn.
